During my years in the hotel industry, I worked in large and small hotels, big and little cities and sold to every imaginable market segment. During that time, I always felt it was important to stay true to myself, my beliefs and let good “Midwestern” common sense guide my decisions. I also made every effort to read and study as much as I could about my industry, my customers and the general world around me. This variety of experiences and thirst for knowledge helped me and the teams I led achieve great success.
Two years ago, I made the decision to broaden my horizons and take on a new selling challenge. In doing so, my eyes were opened to different technologies, selling tactics and strategies. It is my wish the accumulation of all my experiences will help you become a better sales person, sales manager or director.
I’m not a professional writer. I hope in speaking to you in my voice, giving you my ideas, opinions and advice we can grow an on-line community of sales people who care, want to learn more and challenge the status quo together.
I look forward to hearing from you!
